My work is primarily aimed at advocating for women and supporting them in having positive birth experiences. In addition to the comfort techniques and approaches I learned through my DONA-approved doula training, my work is influenced by my experience as a yoga instructor. As a doula, I help laboring women find comfortable and safe alignment during labor and delivery. I help women integrate movement similar to, or the same as, yoga asanas and pranayama, or deep breathing, during labor.
