My passion for working with pregnant moms, started at massage school in 1997 there I was introduced to the idea of natural childbirth and prenatal massage.
When I got pregnant I decided to take a Bradley Method class to prepare for my first baby and loved the class and birth so much I decided to become a teacher a few years later. I took my first childbirth teacher training in The Bradley Method ® in 2004.
In 2013, after spending time at home with my children for 14 yrs, I became a prenatal massage specialist at Salt Lake Prenatal Massage. I was able to work with hundreds of prenatal and postpartum clients, I now have my own office Mother Nurture Baby in Layton, Utah. I have also expanded my prenatal massage and childbirth education certifications to include Stillbirthday doula certification.
I had three beautiful boys and one sweet girl naturally. I love working with my clients whether it is easing aches and pains during a massage or getting the awe inspiring opportunity to be a part of a birth. I truly love my job and am thankful every day I get to do what I do.
Massage work and doula support combine to bring you the ultimate in care and comfort during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods. Reduce the pain of pregnancy with prenatal massage. Change the way you birth by hiring a doula. Have the absolute dream of a pregnancy and birth experience by doing both!
After the birth of my fifth child I felt a strong desire to become a Doula. I received my doula training through DONA International at the School of Midwifery in Springville, Utah. I have also received a certification in the use of a Rebozo for labor support through Gena Kirby, and I recieved my belly binding trianing through Beautiful Birth Doulas. I have experience in home birth, hospital induction, epidurals, non medicated, hypnobirthing, and c-sections, and medically complex births. My goal in working as a Doula is to support, encourage, educate and enable my fellow sisters as they bring new life into this world. I look forward to meeting with you and discussing the possibility of me supporting you on your birth journey.
I’m a HypnoBirthing Educator, birth doula, and mom of 5. I love to support families during pregnancy and birth in whatever capacity I can. I am very passionate about parents being educated and having the tools they need to take charge of their birth experience! I have been a doula for 5 years. I am certified by Childbirth International and have additional trainings in rebozo, HypnoBirthing, and breastfeeding.

Kasaundra strongly believes in continuing education and has completed certifications and trainings in rebozo work and lactation assistance. She has experience with unmedicated birth, epidural birth, water birth, cesareans, VBAC, birth centers, hospitals, homebirths, twins, rapid birth, and maternal mental health. When she can find them, Kasaundra is mom to four beautiful kids and wife to her high school sweetheart. She got her start in the birth world when preparing for her vbac following the birth of her twins. She learned that birth was something to embrace as a unique part of each family’s story. Kasaundra enjoys reading novels, visiting Park City with her family, singing with her folk group, and discovering bingeworthy TV. She speaks Spanish and loves to meet people and hear the unique stories they have to tell.

Years from now when your child is no longer a baby, I’d like for you to be able to look back on this time and feel great about yourself and your experiences. You are doing powerful stuff right now doing only what YOU can do: growing and birthing your baby. It is my wish that you feel well supported during this time.
I am a BIRTHING FROM WITHIN mentor and an certified Advanced DONA doula. I am also a trained Hypno-Doula. In addition to that, I make sure to update my education on a yearly basis. I have varied my training because I find it important to have the tools necessary in order to meet people where they are on their personal birth journey. In as many ways as birth giving is similar between women, it is unique as well. We all experience birth and life in ways that are our very own. As I do this work, my first goal is to provide respect and loving support of your unique birth wishes.
There is always more to learn and as the science changes, I’d like to know about it. One thing that doesn’t change though is the benefit of having another woman with a knowledge of birth and a supportive heart by your side. Women have been assisting women in this way for thousands of years. I absolutely love being one in a line of women that support others in this way. I've been practicing since 2006. Feel free to visit my website for more information. I would be honored to meet with you so that we may discover if we are a good fit.
I am in the process of becoming DONA certified. I have 2 children, one born in Maryland and one born here at IMC. I am pleased to become part of your birthing team and prepare you for your birth.
I am in the process of being Birth Boot Camp trained in both childbirth education and being a doula. I love learning about birth and plan on continuing my education after my certification, including training in becoming a bereavement doula. I believe all women have the right to choose how they are going to birth and should be respected in that choice, be it an elective c-section or an unmediated home birth. When a woman is surrounded by people who love and care about her and when her support team is tuned into her needs, birth can be a beautiful and uniting experience. I would love to be part of your support team!
I am Tresa Haymond, a mom, grandma, doula, and photographer. I love to enhance connection between you, your partner and your baby. I look forward to giving you the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual support you need in order to have a comfortable, positive and beautiful birth experience with your partner. I am passionate about listening to the desires and concerns of you and your partner, so that I can offer the best resources and hands-on comfort measures to assist you in reaching your hopes for your birth.

I am also happy to provide you with some precious images that will help tell your birth story as part of this doula package, at no extra cost.
(Note: If birth photography is a top priority for you, you may want to hire a separate birth photographer. I have been able to capture enough images to satisfy my clients so far, but I cannot promise that I will be able to catch every moment you may wish, as supporting you is my top priority as your doula. Still, I do my very best to pick up my camera any time other support is in place for a moment.)
*If you only want my birth or newborn photography services, I offer that as well at a different rate. See www.treehaymond.com
*If you live outside of Utah or Salt Lake Counties, I am happy to discuss service with a travel fee.

Hi Mommas! I am Jennifer Harker and I am a DONA trained Birth Doula. All my life I knew I wanted to do something to help people and make the world a better place and after I gave birth to my son in 2013 I found my passion... empowering women to have positive birth experiences.
The birth of my son was the best experience of my life shared with my husband. We loved the medical support and loved the venue, but there was a missing ingredient that I didn't know we needed...a DOULA! I really wish there was someone there to give my husband and I the emotional and physical support to get through those tough moments. My husband was the best support but he at times felt helpless and there were times I desperately needed words of encouragement. Later that year I found a DONA Doula class that I could use as credit to finish my Bachelors and it changed my life.
I am so amazed by the human body and the journey the women go through in labor and delivery and that those positive experiences carry over into motherhood. The births I have attended since then have been the most precious empowering experiences I have seen of motherhood. Gosh we can do hard incredible things!!!
I believe that no matter the circumstance or challenges along the journey of giving birth that a positive experience is possible with the right support. I offer my support and services to mothers and families on this journey.
My services include:
- 2 prenatal visits
- 2 foot zone balance therapy sessions
- help with developing a birth plan if desired
- 24/7 phone and texting support
- continuous labor support
- use of essential oils and acupressure support in labor
- 1 postpartum visit
I am honored to be a witness to the power of women and want to offer education love and support during this miraculous life event.
My name is Jen Wade. I am a certified Doula through Dona International, as a Doula I feel it is important to educate, support, and empower women as they go throughout their pregnancy, and as they become a mother. I believe it is important for a mother and her partner to create, ahead of time, a birth plan that best fits their needs, desires, and lifestyle. Becoming a doula has been a very spiritual and fulfilling experience for me thus far and I am passionate about helping create a birth story that works for you. The benefits from constant support are beneficial for both a laboring woman and her partner, and I love being that support and friend that is needed during labor!
My name is Jessica. I am a Mother of a beautiful 9 year old boy who will not stop growing despite my begging and pleading 😉
Im currently working on my certification towards a Postpartum Doula, through the Midwife College of Utah.
In addition to these roles, Im also an LCSW, and have been practicing in the mental health field for 10 years. As a result of my own postpartum depression after my baby, Ive taken a strong interest in postpartum well being and developed a passion for helping new parents have a happy and healthy experience with their newborn/s. Im a member and provider for the Utah Maternal Mental Health Collaborative, as well as the Emily Effect.
Im Adult and Infant CPR certified.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing with my son, reading, cooking, and self care.
I'd love to assist you in your journey as you welcome your new baby into the world! Feel free to email, text, or call me if youre interested in talking about how I can do so.
I am a certified birth doula serving Utah (including South Utah county) and South Salt Lake counties. It is my hope that every woman will walk into her birth feeling confident and at peace, and leave feeling empowered and supported. I have experience with Hypnobirthing (Mongan Method), Hypnobabies and Lamaze. I also have experience with pregnancy loss/stillbirth, and pregnancy after loss. It is my pleasure to provide support to all birthing women, no matter her choice. Whether it be an unmedicated birth, epidural, or cesarean section, hospital birth, home birth, or birthing center—I support YOU in your choices.
I am a volunteer board member for the Utah Doula Association. Prior to starting my path of becoming a doula, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Utah. Shoot me a message to chat!
I’m Stacie and I’m passionate about birth. I love being a doula, guiding women through the marathon of childbirth. I believe couples can replace any of their birth fears with true confidence and peace.
I have been happily married for 16 years and have 3 lovely children. I had one epidural birth as well as two unmedicated births. The support I received from my doula was completely priceless. My husband’s immediate response, after our first birth with a doula, was that we would never have another baby without a doula. We were sold! Looking back, the labors and births of my babies are truly defining moments in my life. I will forever cherish the depth of personal awareness and strength I gained on those days.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development from Brigham Young University. Since having my children, I have been a full time mother and have loved every minute. Once all of my kids started school, I began my doula work (2015). I am a certified birth doula through Doulas Of North America (DONA), and am also an Advanced Hypnodoula, Curtis Method. In addition, I teach Childbirth Preparation classes to expectant couples at the U of U hospital. I have special interest in spreading awareness about breast and ovarian cancer risk and in supporting women who have been touched by cancer or who have the BRCA gene mutation.
I grew up in Utah County, but have lived in Davis County for the past 11 years. Our family loves living in Bountiful. I provide my services to women throughout Salt Lake, Davis, & Weber Counties. In my free time I like to hike, cook, volunteer at my kids schools, perform musical theatre, read, organize things, and play cards/board games with my family.
You can find out more about the services I offer on my website: laboryourway.com
I am a birth doula, postpartum doula and board-certified music therapist serving families in Salt Lake County. I love working with all families including LGBTQ+ parents, adoptive parents, and single parents. I accompany families giving birth in the hospital, a birth center, or at home, and I support all types of birth. I believe it is every birthing person’s right to be educated about their birth options, and to have a birth experience that is safe, supported and empowering.
As a board-certified music therapist, I have extensive clinical training on how to use music to help people reach goals, experience deep inner connection, and process difficult emotions. I specialize in Music Therapy Assisted Childbirth, an evidence-based technique where I help expecting families incorporate music into their labor in order to experience deeper connection, confidence and strength during their birth experience. I also help parents write original songs called "womb songs" to their babies, facilitating deep bonding and connection.
I am a licensed massage therapist since 1997 and a doula since 2003. I have a private practice in Clearfield called The Healing Tree Massage, Bodywork and Doula Services. I am from Utah and love this beautiful outdoor state.
I have 3 amazing children who are my teachers. With each of my children they taught me different unique things going through the birthing process with them. I cherish these lessons and I am always pursuing new ways to grow in everything that I do.
Pregnancy, birth, and babies...I love it all. I view birth as an opportunity for healing and growth. This is also an opportunity to listen/communicate with your body. I love assisting mothers and fathers in having rewarding and positive birth experiences. This is a parent experience not just a mother experience. I enjoy helping the partner be involved in this process.
I bring a lot of unique qualities to a birthing experience. I teach dance, yoga, and meditation classes which help with movement, visualization, and finding a balanced/centered place within. I offer a free massage/energy work session as part of my doula package. Touch can be a very useful tool at a birth experience as well. I specialize in energy work which is also very helpful because it deals with more of the emotional and mental components. I use techniques such as rebozo and spinning babies. I also do belly binding. I am happy to work with families on payment options as well.
I delight in creative adventures of all kinds and varieties. In my down time I like to hike, read, watch movies and play with my children in various ways.
I am a trained DONA doula servicing the North Utah/Hill AFB area. My family and I moved here from the South GA/North FL area. I am a retired Air Force medic and mother of 4 beautiful boys. I earned my Associates degree in Allied Health Science in 2010 and my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2014. I completed my DONA Doula Birth training in Aug 2016 and Postpartum training in Nov 2016. Becoming a mother was so life changing for me in so many positive ways. I realized how important it was to be supported on this journey. I "believe a woman’s journey to motherhood starts in pregnancy and hits its first of many climaxes, with birth."
What is my role as a birth doula?
As a birth doula service provider, I help women stay strong and calm during birth. I will offer comfort measures, coping techniques, and constant presence to help you create a satisfying birth experience.
I will work to provide comfort and perspective to you and your partner. As your doula, I work for you directly, not for your caregiver or hospital. My goal as your doula is to be completely present for your birth experience--physically, emotionally and energetically.

Whatever that space looks like for you, it is my role to support you to have a voice, to know you have choices, and to feel confident and supported in your decisions. I believe that you can and should feel empowered in whatever way YOU choose to prepare, give birth, and care for your baby!
In 2015, I became a 200-RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) and continued studying at Utah Valley University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education. I studied women's health, nutrition through pregnancy & breastfeeding, anatomy, modifying health behaviors and other health related classes. These classes taught me further, the importance of overall health and wellness (mentally, physically, spiritually & socially). I use this education through Wellness Coaching to benefit women & their families who are struggling with the life changes that come along with having a baby.
Outside of my college training, I recently participated in an internship in San Pedro La Laguna, Guatemala where we hosted medical clinics with five Guatemalan Doctors. My favorite part of this internship was working with women who were pregnant or breastfeeding. I also completed an internship with WIC (Women, Infants, Children) where I worked in the lactation department, assisting women with breastfeeding in Provo, Utah.
My passion for yoga and women's health led me to completing a pre & postnatal yoga training to be a Registered Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT). I love helping women prepare and heal their bodies through Pre & Postnatal Yoga. I believe that breathing and strength building exercises are extremely helpful and important for labor and delivery. My fascination and passion for pregnancy and birth likewise led me to an intensive training with DONA International to become a Birth Doula, on my way toward full certification. I love caring for women in labor and believe that every woman deserves to have an empowering birth experience no matter what type of birth they have.
Besides teaching yoga and attending births, I enjoy hiking, camping, rock climbing, biking & practicing yoga with my husband in Utah!

My name is Kristina Clayton and I want to share with you my passion. I found it when I was just 15 years old when my mother shared her birth story with me! Her last born, as an unmedicated birth with a Midwife who catered to my mother's wants and needs. My life's goal is to be what that midwife brought to my mother - support, encouragement, hope, and nonetheless love to mothers. I share this with you as you embark on your journey to find a doula. Birth is an everlasting experience none will forget and I promise to hold your space.

My name is Amanda Smith. I have been passionate about birth since I had my first daughter in 2009. I wanted to know everything there was about having a wonderful experience through the pregnancy and also birth and beyond!! I took a Bradley Method 12 week class and met some amazing birthing Momma's, that I am still blessed to call friends still to this day! I first attended a birth in March of 2010 and I have been hooked on helping women have a positive experience ever since. I had my second daughter in 2011 and again had such a wonderful experience! I had both of my children in a hospital, but I did it my way. I had no interventions, had a doula at both births and wanted to help other women have the birth they wanted! I looked into the certification process for a few years, when my children were a little older I decided to go for it! I went through the Dona.org organization and it has been such an amazing experience. I have attended both Home and Hospital births and my goal is to help assist women in the most positive experience they can have. I have no personal preferences on the way a birth "should be". I wholeheartedly believe each birth is unique and precious. I take clients from all walks of life because I believe that having a doula creates an experience you will remember in a positive way forever.

She strongly believes that birth should never be something to fear. It is a journey intimately shared between parents and their baby.
Maura knew she was meant to be a doula during the birth of her daughter. She started her training soon after at Salt Lake Community College. In her spare time, Maura enjoys skiing, decorating, exploring new places, shopping, everything birth related, learning new things, cooking and trying new foods, teaching, playing video and board games, and volunteering her time to educate high school students and families about adoption. She loves to go camping, jeeping in Moab, four-wheeling, zip lining, and horseback riding. Maura is a mom to three amazing girls and wife to her fun-loving husband. Hi there! I am the doula behind Treasured Birth Doula Services. I am a wife, and mother of four girls - who encourage me to encourage others. I am very passionate about birth, and love to help educate other parents. I am a trained doula with DONA international. I offer both birth and postpartum doula services, sibling support, and belly binding services. I love to help families with all phases of parenthood. Feel free to reach out to me, to see if I would be a good fit for you. My initial consultation is always free! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, or refer you to other birth professionals.
I started out a dancer, moved into fascial work, and found a love for educating mothers and holding space as babies come into this world. I am not new to coaching people through fascial release; but I am new to doing it with labor involved. This is why I offer a new doula package to gain more experience and let you benefit from my 17 years of body research and experience.
In preparing for your birth it is important that you have the resources at your fingertips to make decision easy and clear to your birth team. Fortunately for you I've got clear (and attractive) birth plans for you to customize so that not only will your nurses want to read it, should you deliver in a hospital even your doctor will have a clear idea of your birth accommodations. This is crucial, for in those last 30-60 minutes you don't want to be briefing people on what you have researched and decided, you want to be focusing on being calm, letting your body work, breathing, and relaxing while your fascia adjusts (yup, I think in fascia because it's what has to release for that baby to come). Whether you ar choosing a birthing center, a hospital, or your home you deserve to have someone to support your decisions and hold their ground so you don't have to. Most caregivers are respectful of a mother's decisions; but I am there for the advent that someone may not be on board...yet.
I do have labor instigating options; but I will only do so if your due date is present or past. I think fully "cooked" babies are healthiest so I won't naturally assist in inductiion before then.
The goal of any birth is to assist you to have the best experience possible with a healthy baby that nurses sweetly and snuggles in close for that delicious new baby smell. We work together so you have the best opportunity to make it just as you want it.
I have done extensive research and I'm happy to teach you about your options and also do a mini-course for your husband so he and you have the tools to make him feel useful and needed.
We offer massage therapy, fascial work, energy release, fertility specific bodywork, nutrition, and self care training on top of the doula work. People are a holistic soul, so we work with you is a holistic way. I say we, because my husband is also a bodyworkers and he does a fantastic job of teaching fathers ways they can help.
I am a Doula, Childbirth Educator, and mother of 5. I've worked as a medical social worker and pregnancy/postpartum support group leader for many years, and specialize in support for women with past trauma or anxiety. Along with doula care, I facilitate an optional Mother Blessing. This is a gathering in addition to or in place of a baby shower, where women come together to provide emotional and physical support for your upcoming birth. For more information go to andreagarn.com.
Hello, my name is Aubrey! I’m a mother and a wife and those parts of my life are the most fulfilling. I want to help you in your journey of bringing your little one into your family by helping you have the kind of birth experience you desire to have!
I am a trained DONA doula and working on my certification. I reside in Cache Valley and can help women in the surrounding areas, including parts of Idaho . Give me a call to see how I can help you!
It has been my dream to work in the field of labor and delivery. I discovered the world of Doula work when pregnant with my second child and knew that was exactly what I needed to be doing. It was my passion. I have trained as birth doula through DONA, an Advanced Doula training, and Curtis Method Hypnobirthing.
I serve Salt Lake, Utah, Sanpete, parts of Juab county and surrounding areas.
I respect and treasure motherhood. Growing up as oldest of nine children, I have learned valuable nurturing skills from my own mother and have developed a passion for motherhood. I have felt the call to work with women from a young age, and I am so excited that my path has led me here. I love making lasting connections and learning from the goodness, kindness, and compassion of women. I love listening to people, and I always strive to provide loving, caring support.
I support all women with any type of birth they desire. I will support and educate couples as they decide for themselves what kind of birth experience they would like to have. I truly believe the mother can and should feel prepared as she approaches her birth and feel empowered as she gives birth.
I have a darling husband who loves and supports my desire to be a doula. I am currently studying at Brigham Young University working to get my degree in Family Science, which includes classes about pregnancy, birth, and human development. Aside from learning about pregnancy and childbirth, I love baking, playing piano, sewing, and traveling with my husband.
I started my path towards being a Birth & Postpartum Doula when I attended the University of Utah in 2005. I studied in depth: Bartenieff Fundamentals, Somatics, Feldenkrais Method, Anatomy, Kinesiology, Childhood Development, Teaching Methods along with Various Traditional Dance Styles. These subject matters helped me deeply understand human development, effective ways to educate another child/adult & movement of the body.
In 2009, I graduated from the University of Utah with my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Modern Dance & Education. I started teaching in various settings through the public & private school sectors.
I received my Yoga Teacher Training through Prana Yoga Studio in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2012. Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Mantra & Meditation work peaked my interest during training. I also fell in love with learning about Ayurvedic medicine and I continue to study at great lengths today. This year I studied through Utah Prenatal Yoga and received my prenatal yoga training. My training helped me develop new, diverse ways to keeping the body and mind connected through a balanced, realistic approach.
In 2012, I started working privately with prenatal yoga clients through the duration of their pregnancy. I wanted to ensure clients learned through the yoga scope a balanced diet, coping skills and physical comforts for during labor, delivery & the postpartum period. Currently, I am teaching prenatal/postpartum yoga classes privately and through hospital supported progams in Salt Lake City.
Since 2015, I have taught healing, restorative yoga & dance classes to sexual assault survivors through UVU & HelpingSAVE. Because I am a teacher for groups healing from trauma I have taken extra therapeutic healing, anxiety reduction & suicide prevention trainings.
In 2015, I received my Birth and Postpartum Doula Certifications through DONA International. I was trained in California, one of the most progressive birth states in America. I received my CD(DONA) and PCD(DONA) accreditation from DONA International in the summer of 2016. This extra education was important to me so I could confidently educate parents on the ever-changing birth and postpartum stages with the most up to date facts and research.
I have helped many families on the road to parenthood & continue to do so whether it’s the first or fifth. I am continually studying to improving my knowledge of the body, the process of prenatal care, labor support & postpartum infrastructure.
Doula work is so important to me because it provides parents with an un-biased education and skills to having a safe, satisfying birth and postpartum experience. A supportive start into a new childs life can be the answer to developing happier children, more evolved adults, caring parents & an overall healthier lifestyle.
Knowledge is the key ingredient to self-confidence & personal power. With these things we can create a better world to live in & sustain a life that is desired and loved.
In my free time I enjoy spending my time learning, teaching & exploring. I am always on the move keeping myself actively participating in my community. I am a tea lover, always hunting for something unique to make tonics and tinctures with. My partner & I have two cats, an organic garden & a wildlife habitat with birds, squirrels, butterflies and ow
Hello, I'm Kandice! I am a certified HypnoDoula who proudly serves throughout the Salt Lake, Davis, and Weber counties. I believe experience is our best teacher! I have been blessed to experience 9 pregnancies and 8 births, each a unique journey of learning and growth. I began supporting mothers post-partum as a young aunt. I followed my mother's example in supporting my sisters as they brought little ones to earth. Nights spent cuddling my neices and nephews as newborns so their mamas could sleep are some of the fondest memories of my youth, and the foundation of my doula training. In 1998 I was blessed with a son of my own, and through experiencing some trauma and side-effects due to my epidural, I was launched down a path of educating myself about childbirth that continues today. Having loved over 30 mothers through their birth journeys, I feel passionate about supporting women physically and emotionally as they choose the best path for their birth and mothering journeys. I love educating women about the choices they have in childbirth and helping them find the power handed down to them from generations of strong women. I completed DONA training in March of 2017 and completed a Hypnobirthing series in June of 2017. I am currently providing doula services and midwifery as a Primary Midwife under supervision. I work in the Wasatch Front area of Utah from Salt Lake through Nephi and beyond. I live in the Payson, Utah area. I look forward to using my experiences to bless and love many more women entering motherhood!
I homeschool my children and enjoy singing, sewing, and gardening. I'm apprenticing as a midwife.
I love this amazing work! I've been honored to serve as a doula to nearly 1,000 women and their families along the Wasatch Front since 2003. Educating and empowering women is my goal. Supporting couples through one of the most amazing of life experiences has taught me much about love and the human spirit. I have worked in 25 area hospitals, many birth centers and homes. I love being involved in my community, gardening, and raising five awesome children.
I am a DONA trained certified birthing doula. I am a mother of two with a medicated vaginal birth and a cesarean birth under my belt. I also have experience with cleft babies as my son was born with bilateral cleft lip and palate. I also have experience with breastfeeding and breast pumping.
My passion is to help mothers learn all the birthing options they have and help them create the birth they have always hoped for or wanted. I am very compassionate and my main priority is the mother. Supporting the mother after birth is just as important as pre-birth and birthing support.
Feel free to contact me with any breastfeeding or doula questions at any time!
I am a DONA-trained doula, senior student midwife at Midwives College of Utah, apprentice midwife, and Licensed Massage Therapist.

I will draw on my knowledge and experience to help inform you through every phase of your birth and support whatever choices you make.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions you may have!

My path towards becoming a birth professional started after I finally became pregnant after years of infertility. I realized that pregnancy and birth didn't need to be cold and clinical. After the birth of my second child, I became a certified HypnoBirthing (Mongan Method) childbirth educator. I have been teaching in Davis and Salt Lake Counties since 2014. I love teaching and I also love when parents invite me into their birth space. There is something magical and primal about a family meeting the newest member. My goal is for every family in my care to leave their birth experience feeling empowered and educated, confident in the choices that they made in their birthing space. Wherever you choose to birth, I would be happy and honored to join you. Please call me or send me a message to set up a meeting to see if we're a good fit.
Best wishes for a peaceful and empowering birthing day!
After twenty-five years experience as a wife and mother, I wanted to give back to the community. So, I returned to the University of Utah to complete my degree in Human Development and Family Studies as well as a Certified Family Life Educator. After several years working in the non-profit sector, my universe has shifted to a desire to help families as a postpartum doula, to coach parents on parenting skills and educate the community on the importance of family.
I love assisting families to reach their full potential by fostering strong, loving relationships. In my spare time I enjoys traveling, reading, gardening and spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Rachel and never in a million years did I ever think that I would be a doula. It was only after several years and the birth of my son did I decide to follow this unexpected passion.
I completed my training through Salt Lake community college in May 2017 and am in the process of becoming certified, I am also taking a post partartum training through the midwives college.
Whether your having a un medicated, medicated, hospital, home birth or birthing center, I support you on this incredible journey.
I would love to meet and chat with you about being your doula.
Specialties: High-risk, VBAC, VBAMC, Diabetes during pregnancy (Type 1, Type 2, Gestational).
I first fell in love with birth when I started doing research during my first pregnancy. I knew that I wanted to have an un-medicated labor, and having Type 1 Diabetes would make it harder to achieve, being classified as high-risk and all. During my research I realized that many women don’t know their options during childbirth and many don’t even realize they HAVE options. After having my eyes opened into this magical world of birth I could not close them again, nor did I want to. I want to help every woman feel empowered, supported, knowledgeable, and excited for the birth of their baby.
I am a highly trained and skilled doula in the height of my life's passion. I am in my element when, after weeks of preparation and education, I see a woman and her partner share a secret, knowing look of shimmering emotion that shows all their hard work paid off, in one of life's most precious moments. This moment is further enhanced for me when the woman’s partner has been encouraged and taught how to help and has been a key element in the pregnancy and labor process, without which, things may have turned out much differently. I feel very strongly about being an advisor to birthing women so they can have the birth they intend, without unnecessary interventions due to lack of knowledge or support.
My goal as a doula is simply to improve birth – by helping to reduce physical and emotional trauma, by empowering women through knowledge and practice, and to advocate for safer birth experiences led by a woman’s own body.
I have had one un-medicated hospital birth, one abdominal birth (c-section), and one un-medicated VBAC (Vaginal Birth after Cesarean) in the hospital. I believe that regardless of circumstance, all births can be made beautiful with the right support and empowerment. I have experience helping women with un-medicated, medicated, cesarean, and VBAC births. I also have personal and professional experience with high-risk pregnancies, diabetes during pregnancy, and VBACs. I can skillfully educate on things that others may not have reason to know.
I am the Chapter Leader of ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network) of Weber/Davis County. In addition to doula services, I also provide The Bradley Method® classes, placenta encapsulation, moxibustion to help turn breech babies, and Bengkung belly binding. I look forward to helping you have a peaceful birth day. #HaveAPeacefulBirthDay
I have been a DONA certified Birth Doula since 2003. I am also an International Childbirth Educators Association (ICCE) childbirth educator. I am on a long slow road to becoming an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). I have training in the use of EFT (Meridian Tapping) for birth, which many of my clients enjoy using. My philosophy when it comes to birth is that a woman's body tells us what we need to know to be able to assist her. Family and doula support enable the woman to birth her baby in the way that is best for her.
My name is Meagan Heaton. I am a Salt Lake City doula including its surrounding areas (Utah/Davis County, Park City, and Tooele)
My whole life I’ve had a deep passion for babies and dreamed of being a labor and delivery nurse for years. I have always felt the desire to help women and infants. After I got pregnant with my first child I became even more aware of just how in love I was with not only babies, but with Pregnancy, Labor, Child Birth and everything that comes after.
My first two children were born via Cesarean Section. Going into the second pregnancy I had an ending goal of a VBAC. My nurse was also a doula and her and I chatted all about doula’s and their roles in a birth setting. She was so wonderful, I was grateful that she was present for most of my birth. After the birth of my second daughter I learned more about the importance of a doula in all types of birth plans. It was soon after that I realized that I really wanted to become a birth doula. I have learned so much along my journey and I can’t wait to keep learning. I recently had my third child and was able to achieve my Vaginal Birth after two Cesareans and it was INCREDIBlE! (feel free to read more about that on my website)
As your Salt Lake City doula I will bring all my passion, love, education and commitment to you, you’re partner and you’re baby. I am so excited for this journey that I have chosen and hope to help many couples through one of the most amazing events of their lives.

I'm a Doula of North America (DONA) certified birth doula; providing clients with preparation and support for their unique childbirth experience. Over the last 5 years I’ve helped countless families achieve their birth goals! My ability to help facilitate and create the birth experience parent’s desire is unparalleled.
I've received advanced training in breastfeeding, HypnoBirthing, and The Bradley Method of Husband Coached Childbirth and I'm a proud board member for the Utah Doula Association. I support families through a variety of birthing styles, including: water births, vaginal births, cesarean births (planned and unplanned), VBACs (vaginal birth after cesarean), hospital, birth center, and home births.
Clients enjoy: individualized preparation, evidence based information for informed decision making, proven comfort techniques for easier labor and delivery, partner support and engagement for a connected experience, and encouragement and motivation every step of the way!
I grew up in Utah and graduated from Utah State University. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Salt Lake City where I met my husband. We currently live in the Bountidul area and are blessed to have two children which bring sunshine into our home everyday! I enjoy doing yoga, snowboarding, cooking and gardening. I love being outdoors and spending time with my family, camping and hiking in the mountains. I have a zest for life and enjoy learning and trying new things.
My vow to families is to guide them through this special journey; helping them have a positive, empowering, and unique childbirth experience!
When a woman becomes pregnant she begins a very amazing and special journey. One of my favorite birth quotes says, “To be pregnant is to be vitally alive, thoroughly woman, and distressingly inhabited. Soul and spirit are stretched -- along with body -- making pregnancy a time of transition, growth, and profound beginnings." ~Anne Christian Buchanan and Debra K. Kingsporn
With the birth of my first child, I found that a spark was ignited within me. This spark led me to question society’s popular view on birth and gave me strength to follow my heart. I was in awe of my growing belly and my body’s ability to carry and foster a developing baby. I realized that childbirth holds the power to transform women. Giving birth to my son was one of the most amazing, hard, indescribable, and sacred things I’ve ever done.
I want to help women learn, just as I did, that they are powerful, capable, and strong. I want each woman to know her inner strength and trust in her body’s ability to give birth. I believe every woman, and her partner, should invest time and energy into preparing and educating themselves about the process of birth and their choices. As a doula, it’s my role to help facilitate and create the birth experience that parent’s desire.
As a doula, I provide support, encouragement, information, and care to each mother and her partner. I like what author and birth advocate, Marssden Wagner says, “…Respecting the woman as an important and valuable human being and making certain that the woman’s experience while giving birth is fulfilling and empowering, is not just a nice extra, it is absolutely essential as it makes the woman strong and therefore makes society strong.”
As a doula, I am there in addition to, not instead of the partner. The mother’s partner is essential in providing support; they bring intimate knowledge about the mother and love for her and their child that no one else can. It is my role to help the partner support her, ultimately making relationships stronger and bonds tighter in only a way that the birth experience can. With a doula present, the pressure on the partner is decreased, and I can help him participate at a level he is comfortable with; guiding him in effective ways to help the mother through labor.
I also feel that there are times when pain medication and interventions are needed and appropriate. However, too often these decisions are made from fear, convenience, or lack of information. As a doula, it is my role to help the couple understand their options, ask the right questions, and take the time needed to make the best decisions for them. I believe that any well-educated decision, made without pressure or fear, is the right one for a laboring couple and as their doula I support couples in their decisions.
The journey of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood is powerful and inspiring. My vow to families is to guide them through this remarkable journey; helping them to realize the strength and beauty within themselves. The birth experience should be one of joy, love, and empowerment.
My philosophy on birth as a doula was fostered through a variety of experiences: I received a bachelor's degree in anthropology from The University of Illinois at Chicago, where I focused my academic work on traditional birth attendants and how birthing practices varied between cultures. I helped conduct research with the college of nursing on prenatal health care development in the United States and Africa. I was captivated by the supportive, nurturing birth practices I was researching and the positive health outcomes they fostered. This is where I discovered that it takes a strong network of family, community and woman-to-woman support to birth and raise a baby. This is where a doula’s role becomes so valuable as she helps to support each one of these relationships. My experience attending births in my own family and in a professional role have continued to strengthen this concept for me as I have seen a variety of teams work with new mothers to create an empowering birth experience for her. ( I often find it personally empowering as well). I have a strong background in postpartum care from working in a birthing center as postpartum care staff and I was a full-time nanny for 7 years. I attended Brigham Young University for nursing/health science and I am studying to be a nurse and midwife
I am a medical social worker turned Doula with a master’s degree in social work and a bachelor’s degree in psychology. My passion for birth and mothering came in 2015 when I did a rotation through labor and delivery in three hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley. Since that time, I have attended workshops and training courses focusing on health, wellness, and comforting measures during pregnancy and labor. As a natural born advocate, my goal as your doula is to help you achieve the birth experience you dream of having and to provide you with information and resources during your pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period. The following are a few skill sets that set me apart as a doula: I have extensive working experience with both trauma and postpartum depression and feel comfortable helping women if or when these issues arise. I have spent six years living overseas and have the utmost cultural sensitivity. Also, I am proficient in American Sign Language, which has been a really positive part of my life. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you and your partner to discuss how I can be of help during this transformative time for you and your family.
I am a fully trained doula, currently working toward DONA certification. I support my clients by educating them and their partners, and enabling them make informed decisions. I employ an evidence-based, hands-on approach and tailor my methods to the needs and preferences of my clients. My long-term goals include earning my degree as a certified nurse midwife.
Stephanie is a certified yoga teacher, trained doula and a birth educator. She is the founder of the Bodhi Birth program and works side by side with her husband, Nicolas, at Embody Wellness. She loves educating herself and sharing “what she’s learned so far” with her clients.
Stephanie loves how practicing yoga keeps her living in the present moment, one breath at a time. She is especially passionate about the profound role that yoga plays in pregnancy, emotional health and spirituality. Stephanie is married to Nicolas Sorensen, a gifted massage therapist and energy worker, and together they’re raising happy children.

I am a wife, homeschooling mother, doula, childbirth, educator, belly binder, and hopeful future midwife. I have been blessed with three beautiful boys and the ability to stay home with them. Birth work is my way to give back!
I have had three very different birth experiences; with my first born by cesarean, my second born medicated vaginally, and my third born completely free of any interventions and at home. I am able to look at each experience with love and gratitude. After my last birth at home with a midwife and doula (and having taken an incredible childbirth class during my previous pregnancy...and applying all of the exercises to this last birth) I knew I had to share the incredible strength and knowledge I had collected with other women. If I could do this, so they could they...so can you!
I fully enjoy guiding families to this wealth of knowledge and empowerment. My role and both a Childbirth Educator and a Doula is to support families in embracing their roles as parents.
I am a lover of the outdoors. I am a dancer. I am a doula. I am Birthing From Within Mentor. I am a student midwife.
I have a BS degree in Psychology and minor in Family and Human Development; while raising my four children I have intermittently worked as a social worker in a variety of settings and have always assisted women and families. It has been an easy transition from social worker to birth worker. I am currently working on my 2nd bachelors degree, studying at Midwives College of Utah. I find it an honor to assist women and appreciate their trust in allowing me in their birth space. My desire is for expectant parents to prepare for and feel empowered in their birth experience no matter the outcome. I believe birth should be a rite of passage and the journey should be explored and cherished.
I love supporting families in doula care and childbirth education.
My name is Amanda Jenkins and I love birth! I am the second oldest of 8 children and was able to witness 3 of my younger siblings’ births as they were born at home. As a child I loved reading all of my mom’s books about pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and mothering and grew up excited to experience birth myself.
My husband and I had our little boy in 2013 at a freestanding birth center with an amazing midwife. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. With the support of my birth team, I felt so loved, protected, and empowered. I recently had our second child at the same birth center and had an equally, if not better, experience.
Since experiencing it myself, my love for birth has just kept growing! I decided that I needed to become a Doula and help other women discover their dream birth experience as well. I am a certified Doula through the Childbirth International Doula program and also spent some time volunteering with the U of U Doula program. I believe every woman deserves to have their best birth possible, and I want to help you achieve that goal.
I have experience supporting women in their births at home, birthing centers and hospitals.
From a young age, I have always thought birth should be a natural occurrence. My mom birthed all of us naturally, including myself, and my twin sister. That seems to have just stuck in my brain, and I love it! I also love the advances in modern medicine, that save so many lives. Being a doula is about helping you find the right balance for your birth.
With 21 years as a doula, I've been blessed to help hundreds of mothers in the birthing and postpartum experience. This has filled my soul! I love supporting pregnant women and helping them navigate the journey that lies ahead of them. Delivering my five children were the five best days of my life! I want to help you to make childbirth the best day of your life too.
I loved labor! I want to instill in women the desire to trust their innate abilities to birth. Child birth should not be feared but looked forward to! I am an incredible birth doula, the go-to postpartum doula in Utah, a college professor, a vocalist and pianist, a loving wife, mother and adoring grandma! Let me know how I can assist you in celebrating new life!

I am a childbirth educator, DONA trained birth doula and Hypnobabies Hypno-Doula. I was put on the path to become a doula after two challenging birth experiences. I learned during my training that there were more empowering and educated choices available. I knew that I wanted to share those options with women and I could make a difference one family at a time. Through much study and preparation I was able to have my own beautiful birth. This powerful experience propelled me even more to help women and families have more positive births and begin their journey to motherhood feeling strong and capable.
I teach How to Birth Like a Rock Star childbirth classes. This program is designed to accommodate women who are seeking an un-medicated birth as well as those planning an epidural. Rock Star is a complete childbirth education that focuses on healthy lifestyle, knowledge and informed consent, as well as meditation and exercises to promote relaxation in labor.
I believe that birth is a monumental event in a woman’s life. It is a day the she will remember forever. It is my hope that every woman may feel valued and powerful during her birthing time. That she will look back on the birth of her baby with great joy. As you prepare to welcome your new baby into your arms, may you choose to have a doula present to support you.

I enjoy getting to know my clients and serving them the best that I can. I am a firm believer in trusting what my clients have to say about their pregnancy and own body. No one knows them better than themselves.

First name pronounced "Shell."
Mother of 3, health and fitness professional (a.k.a. personal trainer), and have just begun the process of certifying with DONA. While I didn't have a professional doula at my births (2 in a hospital, 1 at home), I was surrounded by a sister, my mother-in-law, and a best friend. Along with my husband, these women encouraged me and supported me through the entire birthing process. Their presence gave me so much strength that I now understand how important a doula's role is for expecting parents.
I am passionate about helping women trust their bodies; I believe that a woman's body is strong and capable of going through and doing hard things, and I am here to help facilitate a peaceful, yet empowering birth experience.
~ I love being a doula! My journey of serving expectant and laboring women, as well as assisting their partners or support persons, has been both humbling and inspiring. It is an honor to walk the path alongside them as their lives are forever changed in a truly meaningful way. Each birth is transformative and unique.
~ I have assisted women in childbirth for over 25 years and naturally fell "head over heels" into doula work in 2009, transitioning from social services work into birth work & child birth education. Not only do I have the ideal job, but I thoroughly enjoy each and every client that I am privileged to serve. I am grateful to have apprenticed with Claire Stanley for 2 years and shadow many remarkable doula colleagues. I credit my mother's love of labor and delivery, serving as head nurse, for my passion. In order to serve families more efficiently, In 2014, I linked my productive practice with my fabulous business partners, Angie Rosier and Rachel Britton. (Formerly, In Due Time, Doula Services.) My commitment and devotion would be unfathomable without the support of my business partners, my 5 cool children or my extremely kind and generous husband.
~ Each birth is important and remarkable.! I have worked with a great number of VBAC, twin, special needs, high risk, veteran and high anxiety mamas. Additionally, I teach childbirth education and provide postpartum work, specializing in overnight care with a majority of our babes being multiples. It will be my great pleasure to join you in your journey and serve you, which you certainly deserve.

Growing up in Alaska allowed me to experience the beauty of nature and self confidence to explore life with zeal. After graduating from the University of Alaska with a B.S. in Biology I started on my journey of raising seven beautiful children, three adopted from the foster care system, and supporting my husband in his military career. After adventures in Alaska, Washington and Colorado we planted our roots in Riverton, Utah.
As a certified phlebotomist I contribute to women care in a local Obstetrics and Gynecological office in Riverton, Utah. I am a DONA Trained Doula working towards my Birth and Postpartum Doula certifications. I have experience and training in breastfeeding, an Utah State Emergency Medical Technician certification and a current health care CPR certification. I believe in the empowering experience of childbirth and the positive bonding of breastfeeding. I believe that every woman deserves the knowledge to have an enjoyable, transforming, life changing birth experience.
I am a well-trained doula who is very passionate about what I do! I have trained as a birth doula through DONA International, and through Birth Learning as an Advanced Doula. I have also been trained specifically in working with survivors of abuse - and in the use of a rebozo for comfort during pregnancy, labor, and birth. I am a trained postpartum doula through Midwives College of Utah - an internationally recognized school of midwifery. Additionally, I am a yoga instructor and have worked with women in each trimester of pregnancy.
I believe that birth is normal and natural and that we should trust women and their bodies more! I also believe that having choices and being informed about your options are some of the most empowering and important things in ensuring a positive birth experience. I hope to help all those I serve feel as though they had these things and to come out of birth feeling as powerful and amazing as they are!
The postpartum period is not always recognized as the incredibly significant and important time that it is. I love having the opportunity to nurture and support mothers through this life-changing experience, and to help families make a more smooth transition with the addition of a new baby. The journey doesn't end at birth, and I would be so honored to help any mother have a more pleasant fourth trimester!
Hi, thanks for taking a minute to read about me!
I am a mother, wife, yogi, bookworm, and wanna-be world traveler. I am also a birth doula, Hypnobabies instructor, placenta encapsulation specialist and trainer, bengkung belly binder- offering differing styles/patterns for binds, and a fertility educator.
As a doula and childbirth educator, I love to help moms have the best birth possible whatever that means to them. Providing moms with knowledge equates to power for them and their birth experience. Helping women learn and understand tools needed to help create a peaceful birthing experience, is something I consider vital for a birthing woman and am proud to offer that.
I have supported moms in many birth situations such as vaginal breech birth, home births, planned epidurals, special needs c-section, and unmedicated births. I am very familiar with Hypnobabies, Bradley, and HypnoBirthing methods of childbirth as well as many other mindful birthing practices. I have built and maintained good working relationships with many of the care providers along the Northern Wasatch Front and am committed to creating and maintaining a positive birth experience for a mother and her birth team.
My role as a postpartum service provider is multi-faceted and I try to help my clients however is needed. The most popular ways I do this is with placenta encapsulating and belly binding. I've seen amazing benefits from both services that helps new mothers ease into their new roles confidently. I also help with breastfeeding as needed and can refer to experts in this field if it is beyond my knowledge.
As a fertility educator, I strive to help women understand their menstrual cycle and fertility patterns. Being aware of our fertility pattern is the first line of defense in spotting any type of menstrual or infertility issues, all of which have something to do, on some level, with our hormones. I help women recognize that what we put in to our bodies has a direct effect on the many uncomfortable symptoms that women experience on a regular basis. I want women to have a happy period!
If any of this sounds like something right up your alley, let's chat!

My passion for birth, babies, breastfeeding, and mothering began 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my first. After having an amazing birth with my first child, I continued to read and learn and quickly realized that I wanted to become a doula. That journey has brought me such joy and I can’t imagine doing anything else.

I have supported women in all different types of births including natural hospital births, home births, planned epidurals, VBACs, cesarean sections, etc. Each woman and birth is different and unique and my goal is to support you in your dream birth experience.
I am also a certified Birth Boot Camp instructor, an award winning natural childbirth class made for the modern couple. These classes will prepare you to have an amazing birth. Hi! My name is Dezarae Weyburn, and I’m the owner of No Treble Motherhood Services. I have two beautiful children of my own, and fell into the birth world accidentally while I was expecting my first baby in 2012. I started reading to prepare myself for pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding and got swept off my feet with how much I loved learning about birth.
I am passionate about helping families achieve their personal version of a "perfect" birth, and supporting them in labor and the early days of parenting.
I’m currently training with Stillbirthday as a birth and bereavement doula and I am excited to continue learning and growing in all capacities. I serve primarily Davis and Weber counties in Utah, although I’ll travel up to Box Elder or Morgan, and also down to Salt Lake City area.

She completed one year at MCU before she felt like she was better suited for the Portfolio Evaluation Process through NARM. As well as working on becoming a midwife, Stephanie is constantly perusing other forms of training in order to become more valuable in the birthing community. Stephanie completed her HypnoDoula Curtis Method training at the end of March 2017 and hopes to be certified by September 2017. Stephanie is now accepting Doula clients. I became a doula in 2003 and have helped hundreds of couples prepare for their positive birth experience in over 20 area hospitals and many birth centers and homes. Watching people become empowered by knowledge is one of my favorite aspects of doula work. Professional labor support starts long before labor begins and continues into the postpartum period. I always learn precious lessons about life from the clients I serve and feel blessed by my association with them. While I enjoy every type of labor and birth, I especially enjoy the challenge of high-risk scenarios and the extra support components that accompany the situation. Involving partners to their comfort level is a favorite aspect of doula work I enjoy. I feel that I have the very best job in the world-- to love, support, and empower women.
My name is Jessica Poulsen and I am a mother of 1 energetic little boy and 1 sweet little girl. I am passionate about many things including breastfeeding, gentle and instinctual parenting, and empowering women to take charge of their bodies and their births.
I have been a CAPPA Certified Birth Doula for 4 years and have been an advocate of women's rights (especially in the sacred experience of birth) for as long as I can remember. I started my journey into the birth worker world after the birth of my son. I realized during my not-so-woman-centered birth that having more Doulas in the area was MUCH needed. I later went on to have the most healing and empowering birth experience 2 years later that even further instilled this passion and fire for birth within my soul. Every single woman deserves to feel the way I felt that day and as I Doula I make that my goal. Whatever your birth preferences are, YOU deserve to feel empowered and in the drivers seat.
I believe birth can be an enjoyable, transcending, life-changing, and empowering experience. I believe birth is a safe physiological event, not a medical emergency. I chose to become a doula to educate women about their options and aid in making their birth experience a positive one. Trusting a woman's intuition and allowing their choices of where and how to give birth should be encouraged and embraced.
Hi! I’m Ashlie Hashimoto and I first learned about doulas eight years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. Just like every mother, I began to search out options for my birth. This led to me to learning about doulas, a word in which I hadn’t even heard before this point. As soon as I educated myself, I knew I needed one on my team, so I hired an amazing woman to help my partner and I on this wild ride of pregnancy and into parenthood. Fast forward eight years and here I am now serving women and helping families enter a new chapter in their lives!
I've now been a birth doula for over 4 years and in that time have attended over a 100 births. In that time I've learned so much and my passion and love for my job just keeps growing. I believe that birth is birth is birth, be that in a hospital or at home. Everyone deserves to be supported in whatever that looks like. My end goal is that families felt like that had options and were in charge of their own process whatever that may be.
As a wife and Mom of two children I have given birth both in a birth center and hospital setting. I believe childbirth is an empowering act and that EACH and EVERY birth is a beautiful miracle of life. I am passionate about serving women and honored to witness the birth of your next child. I am a certified HypnoDoula and completed my coursework through the Curtis Method of Hypnobirthing. I have also attended trainings in the Bradley Method of childbirth. Using natural techniques and comfort measures my desire is to help all women experience a beautiful and peaceful birth.
Your birth your way! Whether you are desiring a natural water birth, a medicated birth or a planned cesarean the continuous support of a doula provides you with continued support for you and your birth preferences. I am here to support and your birth wishes!
During the Postpartum time, it is my desire to support you and your family in however you are best served! This could include preparing nourishing foods, breastfeeding support, home cleaning and organization, sibling bonding, running errands and writing your birth story!
In my free time, I love to experiment in the kitchen with new healthy recipes, teach youth and adult cooking classes, garden, hike and spend time with my husband and two children.
Complimentary consultations are available!
Hi! My name is Melissa Olson and I own Bundles of Joy Doula Services. I love doula work and I am so happy I found this path back in 2014. To be able to witness the miracle of childbirth and help empower mothers and their partners is truly rewarding.
I take a small client load of 1-2 clients a month. This enables me to really commit to you and your needs. When you hire me you can rest assured that I will not be dividing my time between you and multiple other clients. I am YOUR doula.
I have a special passion for working with first-time parents. There is nothing quite so amazing as watching a couple become parents for the first time and I absolutely love being present to witness such a remarkable time in their lives.
One of my strengths truly lies in my ability to empower partners during the labor and birthing process. In addition to my primary goal of helping the laboring mother find her strength and power, I really bring the partner into the team and teach them what to do, how to do it and why. When they have the knowledge and encouragement behind them they can be such an incredible force in the birthing space. So if you have a partner that is iffy on hiring or doula or pretty unsure about the birthing process in general, let's talk!
I thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering me as your doula.
I am a mom to my own 5 young children, a new midwife, doula, placenta encapsulation specialist and belly bind-er .
