I’m Zoë, a doula, aromatherapist, novice herbalist, placenta encapsulator, and birth enthusiast!
I was trained by a DONA certified doula trainer, doula, and midwife. I completed my DONA training in April 2021. At this time, I am in the process of certifying through DONA. I am continuing my doula education as well as exploring my options to becoming a home birth midwife (CPM) and IBCLC. Breastfeeding is one of the great joys in my life and I seek to help the women I serve have a positive experience breastfeeding their babies.
As your doula, I offer insight and support based on my training, continuing education, personal experience, and personal gifts. I provide resources for you to understand the physiology of birth as well as resources to help you emotionally and mentally cope with labor. You can do this!
Birth is a natural process and should be treated with reverence and dignity. This is a once-in-a-lifetime event. You may have multiple children, but you only give birth to this baby once. You are transforming yourself and becoming new. You deserve someone who will honor you in that process. That’s what I’m here for. Let’s schedule a consultation to see if we are a good match!

I've received advanced training in breastfeeding, HypnoBirthing, and The Bradley Method of Husband-Coached Childbirth.
I support families through a variety of birthing styles, including water births, vaginal births, cesarean births (planned and unplanned), VBACs (vaginal birth after cesarean), hospital, birth center, and home births.
Clients enjoy individualized preparation, evidence-based information for informed decision making, proven comfort techniques for easier labor and delivery, partner support and engagement for a connected experience, and encouragement and motivation every step of the way!
I grew up in Utah and graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors degree in Family Consumer Science and Human Development. Shortly after graduating, I moved to Salt Lake City where I met my husband. We currently live in Davis County and are blessed to have three children! I enjoy yoga, snowboarding, cooking, and gardening. I love being outdoors and spending time with my family camping and hiking in the mountains. I have a zest for life and enjoy learning and trying new things.
My vow to families is to guide them through this special journey; helping them have a positive, empowering, and unique childbirth experience!
Birth is a tremendous and transformative labor of love, ripe with both challenges and rewards. I believe in the immense power of a positive birth experience that empowers women and men to begin parenthood with joy and confidence. My goal is to help parents create positive memories of birth, regardless of the challenges that arise. I approach being a doula with a dedication to working openly with the unique perspective, abilities, challenges, and needs of laboring mothers and their support team.
My own motherhood journey took place in Stuttgart Germany. My first birth was a challenge for me, one which I was unprepared to meet and it was not easy. I walked away feeling disappointed in my body but happy to be a mother. Those difficulties motivated me to make some changes. The next time I was pregnant, I took a birth preparation course and gained some tools for labor. I rocked that birth and it was truly transformative. I walked away feeling powerful and strong. This experience inspired me to become a birth worker and help women put their feet on the path to a powerful, positive birth.
During my first (twin!) pregnancy, I had a lot of questions, but wasn't always sure who to ask. That pregnancy and birth had several complications, and I'm so grateful that, in the end, all three of us were healthy and well. But looking back, I realize that I would have benefited from more emotional, physical, and informational support during my pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum time. I became a doula so that I can be that support for others!
The VBAC birth of my son was indescribably transformative and empowering. I discovered my life-giving strength and fell in love with birth! I look forward to being by your side as you do the same.
I began my study in massage in 2008, and I fell in love. I fell in love with the art of touch. I fell in love with the human anatomy; how our muscles respond to everything we do, how we hold our emotions in our muscles, how manipulating the tissue can literally fix diseases and release so much more then just tension. I saw and felt my body change. I let go of so many things I had been holding on to. My anxiety decreased. My depression decreased. I felt better; stronger. And more importantly, I felt a power. A healing power that I was able to give. I helped people in real pain. I was able to "fix" their pain. And it was truly amazing. I was actually able to see the results, and I couldn't believe that I had ever lived without massage therapy in my life. I kept thinking, "Why don't more people know about this?" And I knew I was on a mission. A mission to bring the Healing Power of Touch to everyone, because EVERYONE needs it!
Since graduation, I have been able to work on many different bodies, and see so many changes; physically, emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually. I absolutely LOVE what I do. I am married to a wonderful man and we have four beautiful children. I love reading, dating my husband, movies, history, sunflowers, chocolate, the ocean, mountains, sunshine and rain, travelling, gardening, surprises, and supporting women. I have experienced myself a medicated hospital birth, scheduled surgical birth, and two VBAC Hypnobirths, as well as three miscarriages, which means I can empathize and relate to many different types of situations. I look forward to getting to know you and your individual needs and goals. I hope you learn something new, and come experience the Healing Power of Touch.

Hello mommas! Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am excited that you will soon meet your baby.
I am Sinda. I am a HypnoBirthing childbirth educator and birth doula serving in the Utah County area. I am located in Lehi. I have been serving mommas from all walks of life. I have served mommas in hospitals, homebirths, and birth centers.
I became a birth worker because I was frustrated at the way mommas were treated at the hospitals. I am also frustrated that it has been a fear-base reality that surrounds birth that is so ingrained in our society.
I had 4 homebirths but all were unmedicated. I tell this story because I know that if I can do it, anyone can. I was fearful of all the things I read and heard. I think with birth education, a doula, and practice, you can totally do it! I want to give that power back to you.
After successfully birthing 4 children un-medicated, I wanted to help other birthing people gain confidence in their body by preparing for the type of birth they desire. I completed doula training with DONA International in 2019. Since then I have gained experience by attending both medicated and unmedicated births in hospitals, birth centers, and home births (while also having my fourth baby at home). I have provided doula support for VBAC births, vaginal breech births, and c-sections. I am familiar with many types of birthing methods, including HypnoBirthing, HypnoBabies, and The Bradley Method. I was recently certified as a VBAC doula as well as in the Body Ready Method. I am also trained in reiki, safe baby massage, diabetes during pregnancy, breastfeeding consultation, and am continually seeking training to expand my knowledge and expertise.
My training has fueled my passion for the incredible birth process, the indescribable strength of a birthing person's body, and her desire to help people have the birth they want!
When I'm not attending births I am driving my children around to their activities, playing board games, spending time outside, or catching up with family and friends.
