My Profile
My name is Brittany Miller and I am a Salt Lake City Birth and Postpartum doula. Every human on this earth was placed here for a specific reason, and I wholeheartedly believe that not only was I placed to become a mother, but my life’s purpose is to support other women as they transition into motherhood. I was diagnosed with Endometriosis at you a young age and was told that I had a very small chance of conceiving.
Fast forward 10 years as I am patiently waiting in my OBGYN’s office to discuss laparoscopy. Two months later (and no laparoscopy), I was pregnant with our first son. Living in a low populated, east coast town, we had no support system or family nearby. I quickly became friends with a woman who happened to be a doula, and she helped nourish my knowledge of pregnancy and birth.
Both of my pregnancies and deliveries were vastly different but experiencing both of those life-altering events opened my eyes to what is possible for other women. While staying at home with our two boys, I started researching anything and everything about pregnancy and birth which then lead me to articles on the benefits of a doula. I soon realized that many of my gifts were in line with this profession. This new life chapter has been an adventure and a blessing. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and extending my support to you.
