I’ve been interested in supporting moms through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum for half my life, but I had only considered taking the college route to become an L&D nurse, NICU nurse, or OBGYN… and as I’ve come to realize the college route with substantial student loan debt doesn’t feel right for me and my family, I started considering my other options. I took a Birth Assistant class with Utah Birth Suites and have greatly enjoyed assisting midwives in the birth center and home birth settings, and began taking birth photography clients in 2024. I have since become a certified birth & postpartum doula, foot zone practitioner, & phase 2 Student Midwife. It’s been incredibly fulfilling to support mothers through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I have greatly loved and enjoyed birth work in all forms, and look forward to continuing my education.
