Utah Birth Services was born out of a desire to serve expectant families in my community and to help them have the best birth experiences possible. I truly believe that when a woman is empowered, seen, heard, loved and supported during her birthing time she becomes a different mother who raises stronger more resilient children. Generations are affected by how we feel when we give birth. I offer my experience, training, expertise, time, heart and soul to my clients. I serve wholeheartedly and never stop learning. I thirst after knowledge that can improve my practice. What I love most about birth work is being in those really raw, vulnerable and intimate moments with people where we are all just humans holding each other. It is so beautiful to me when all the masks come off. My clients often become like family to me. I got into this work to help people know that there are better ways than the standard, American, conveyor belt approach to birth and while I still believe it is important to reveal what birth really is it's the relationships that keep me loving the work.
