Peaceful Doula Services
Tobie is a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula with over 10 years of experience. She has assisted with many types of birth including; born still, epidural, hospital, home, birthing suite, water births, unmedicated, same sex couples, induction, etc. – as well as additional training in supporting survivors of abuse, trauma and sexual assault. She feels privileged every time she’s able to assist in the miracle of childbirth, as well as assist with postpartum care – having seen the multiple benefits that a family experiences when mom is nurtured, emotionally supported, well rested and the family unit is cared for. When not busy with doula work she runs a fabulous humanitarian program taking groups to Guatemala. While in Guatemala they work on a farm, volunteer at orphanages, shop at awesome markets, deliver school supplies and backpacks to local schools, hike ruins, ride a horse up a volcano, make great friends, learn gratitude and appreciation and learn a lot about life.
